2013-2014 ACADEMIC DECATHLON Next Year's Theme: World War I In recognition of 2014 being the centennial of the start of the war, we're excited to announce that the overall curricular theme for the 2013-2014 competition season will be World War I. If you're interested in joining the Academic Decathlon team next year, please see Mr. Daley in Rm 6-14, or email him at breton.daley@simivalleyusd.org. RONALD REAGAN CITIZEN SCHOLAR INSTITUTE Royal High School and the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Library have developed a partnership in education. This unique and one-of-a-kind partnership has resulted in the Ronald Reagan Citizen Scholar Institute (RR CSI) at Royal High School. Within the RR CSI there are four areas of educational focus: Individual Liberty, Global Economy, National Pride and Economic Opportunity. Under the RR CSI, there are also two additional programs in the works: the International Baccalaureate program and the Air Force Junior ROTC program. It is the expectation that as students progress through their education at Royal they will select an area of focus and pursue a Ronald Reagan Citizen Scholar Diploma Seal.
