8:20am School Starts – Periods 1, 3 & 5 (A Block)

 

0 Period classes will be posted on the Library

Then for 1st Period Classes, they will be posted as follows….

 

9th Grade on the MPR

10th Grade on the 5 Building

11th Grade on the 6 Building

12th Grade on the Library

 

Locators will be given out in 1st Period

 

Wednesday (B) Block – Periods, 0, 2, 4, & 6

Thursday (A) Block – Periods 0, 1, 3, & 5

Friday (B) Block – Periods 0, 2, 4, & 6

 

Counselors will only be available to students for wrong classes or double booked classes. Students need to come to the counseling office at the beginning of the period that there is an issue.

Junior Parents

Attention Parents who have juniors attending Royal.

 

Royal High School has a volunteer organization know as Junior Parents which provide support services for junior class events.  We are currently requesting volunteers to join this year’s organization during the rest of this month.  To volunteer, send an e-mail to Mr. Willging at robert.willging@simivalleyusd.org by Friday, January 16th.  Include your name, e-mail and phone number as well as the name of your junior student.  Our first official meeting is scheduled for Thursday, January 22nd at 7:00 p.m. in room 5-3 at school for sign-ups.  In order to obtain more information please e-mail Mr. Willging.

Royal High School and the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Library have developed a partnership in education.  This unique and one-of-a-kind partnership has resulted in the Ronald Reagan Citizen Scholar Institute (RR CSI) at Royal High School.  Within the RR CSI there are four areas of educational focus: Individual Liberty, Global Economy, National Pride and Economic Opportunity.  Under the RR CSI, there are also two additional programs in the works: the International Baccalaureate program and the Air Force Junior ROTC program.  It is the expectation that as students progress through their education at Royal they will select an area of focus and pursue a Ronald Reagan Citizen Scholar Diploma Seal.  Royal High School is leading the way for civics education for high schools across the country. Every 15 Minutes - Fundraiser

EVERY 15 MINUTES – Royal High School will be presenting the “Every 15 Minutes” program to all juniors and seniors on March 4th & 5th, 2015. This is a 2 day program, the 1st day there will be a simulated fatality accident that the students will watch unfold and the 2nd day will be an assembly with a guest speaker. Approximately 16-18 students will be chosen to participate as actors in the program. If your student is interested in participating in the program, please have them see their counselor. This program costs approximately $20,000 to put on. We receive a grant from the CHP and we need to raise the remaining amount.
