The purpose of the National Honor Society is to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership and to develop character in the students of secondary schools. NHS is open to Royal junior and senior students who meet the membership requirements of 3.50 GPA or higher, a dedication to community service during the previous year, active in school activities and has demonstrated leadership qualities.
