mission statement
The Royal High School boys soccer program enjoys a rich tradition of success. Since the school soccer program began in 1974, it has won 4 Frontier League championships, 11 Marmonte League championships, 3 California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) titles, and numerous tournament championships throughout Southern California. Many of our student-athlete alumni have gone on to play in prestigious college and university programs, while others went on to become successfull soccer coaches at the club, high school, and college levels.
Success, however, cannot be achieved without discipline and sacrifice. Both the coaching staff and players at Royal High School devote a considerable amount of time into this sport in an attempt to maintain this program's legacy of high expectations. Our student-athletes are also required to be good students and to display good citizenship. It is the philosophy of our entire coaching staff to promote sportsmanship and a respectful/safe environment.
We ask our athletes to abide to the following code of ethics:
Highlander Soccer Code of Ethics
1. I will display good sportsmanship on and off the field.
2. I will display good citizenship on and off the field, especially in the classroom.
3. I will always attend practices with a positive attitude ready to participate.
General information
Hello and welcome to the 2013-14 soccer season!
We are very pleased to announce that there have been numerous changes in our program, starting with booster club officers: Kristen Stubbs is our president and Terri Rizzo is our vice-president. We have the support of excellent "team-mom" secretaries (Jill Robles, Lynn Johnson, Tamara Lott, Loraine Austin, and Trish Goenner among others) who are very dedicated to the program and want to see Royal High School boys soccer continue its legacy of being one of southern California's top high school soccer programs.
Please check this website regularly for continued updates!
GO ROYAL!
Thank you!
