Grad Nite – Thursday, June 6th (Magic Mountain, Buses Leave Royal 8:30-9:00pm)

Graduation Rehearsal – Monday, June 10th (Gym 1:00pm)

Senior Awards Night – Monday, June 10th (MPR 6:30pm)

Graduation Ceremony – Tuesday, June 11th (Stadium 6:00pm)

EARPHONES / EAR BUDS– This is a reminder that students are not allowed to wear earphones or ear buds at any time during the school day.  If they are visible, they will be taken away and a parent will need to come pick them up.  Repeat offenses will result in consequences and possible disciplinary action.

DRESS CODE - With warmer, more beautiful weather approaching, we would like to remind all students that the school dress code policy still applies. Shorts shouldn’t be too short.  No bare midriffs, tube-tops or halter tops are allowed.  As always, gentleman are reminded to pull up their pants.  Please refer to your Agenda Book if you have any questions about the dress code.  Thanks for your cooperation.  Remember, violations of the dress code will be strictly enforced.

CASH / DEBIT / CREDIT CARDS ONLY – The ASB Office will only accept cash and credit cards for any purchases or payments now through the end of the school year.  Sorry, no personal checks will be accepted.  The Library will only accept cash.  Sorry, the Library does not have the ability to accept credit cards.  If you owe for a Library book and need to pay with a debit or credit card, you can make arrangements to pay in the ASB Office, but you must start with the Library and bring the ASB Office a copy of the debt with the account code on it from the Librarian.

SUMMER SCHOOL – The Las Virgenes Educational Foundation is offering Acceleration (Go Ahead) and Credit Recovery (Repeat) summer school classes for the first time to SVUSD 8-12th grade students.  Check out the link on our school website for more information.

CLASS OF 2013 NEWS

SENIOR PROM – This year’s Senior Prom is being held on Saturday, May 18th at the California Science Center, Wallis Annenberg Building in Los Angeles from 7:00pm-midnight. 

GRAD NITE – Seniors are invited to celebrate Grad Nite with their friends at Magic Mountain on Thursday night, June 6th.  Tickets on sale now in the ASB Office and cost is $90.00.  Cash, debit or credit cards accepted in the ASB Office.  Sorry, NO personal checks will be accepted for Grad Nite sales.  All students must have a signed permission slip when buying their tickets.  Seniors not on track for graduation will need to be cleared by their Counselor before being allowed to purchase Grad Nite tickets.  Seniors must also have satisfactory attendance and citizenship, have no disciplinary issues and be in good financial standing.  We will sell Grad Nite tickets until space runs out.

GRADUATION LEIS - Our Girls Soccer program will once again be selling graduation leis.  These beautiful leis are being shipped directly from Hawaii and will arrive fresh on graduation day.  Prices run between $20-30 depending on which lei you choose.  Order by Wednesday, May 29th and you can pick up your lei just prior to the graduation ceremony.  Click here for more information and an order form.
