Registration for 2013-2014
All students who plan to attend Royal High School for the 2013-2014 school year should have submitted a course request form. Those who have not done so should pick up a form in the counseling office and return it ASAP. Helpful resources include our Course Catalog or Counseling Office Policies and Procedures Handbook .
Registration for Incoming 9th Graders
If you missed our Registration Nights for incoming 9th graders, you can access the power point presentation here. Simi Valley Unified School District students may pick up a course registration form to complete and return to Jean Hodges in the Counseling Office. If you have questions that can't be answered using our Course Catalog or Policies and Procedures Handbook, you may email your counselor.
If you are coming from a school outside the Simi Valley Unified School District, you will need to see Lynda McKnight in the counseling office for enrollment and registration paperwork (click here for a list of necessary documents).

2012 - 2013 Counseling office hours: 7:30 - 4:00
Royal High School counselors assist students in the areas of academic achievement, personal/social development and career development. This includes working with students to develop four year plans to meet graduation requirements and to explore and prepare for the wide range of post-high school options.
The Counseling Office is open from 4:00 – 7:00pm on the second Monday of every month. Two of the counselors are available to provide information and answer questions. Students and parents are welcome to stop by – no appointment needed!

College Entrance Testing
College bound seniors should register to take the SAT or ACT in the fall. College bound juniors should take the SAT or ACT in the spring of their junior year. Information about test dates and registration is available on these websites: SAT: http://www.collegeboard.org ACT: http://www.act.org Registering early means no late fees are required and increases the chances that students will be assigned to their preferred test site. Royal High School offers the SAT in June.
