Katrina DuVal came to us from the Los Angeles Unified School District where she taught 6th grade English/Social Studies and ESL for three years.  She was also a middle counselor for two years. Upon receiving the news she would be joining the rest of the Highlanders, Mrs. DuVal was ecstatic because she had heard so many wonderful things about the students, parents and staff of Royal High School.

Mrs. DuVal knew at an early age she wanted to pursue a career in education.  She loves working with students on a daily basis.  In her opinion, she has the best job.  She has enjoyed being a part of the Royal family and looks forward to the years to come.

She  lives in Newbury Park with
her husband and their young son.  She enjoys spending time with her husband and son, visiting with friends and family, traveling, reading, scrap booking, shopping, movies, and attending concerts with her husband.
