Dear Highlanders:
 

On behalf of the staff and student body of Royal High School, I would like to welcome you to the 2012-2013 school year.  The past year had something to offer every person and was an exciting time.  We welcome the class of 2016 to Royal High School.

Education in the state of California is in a constant “change” mode and Royal High School is following the lead of the State Board of Education.  We are stressing the importance of teaching the California State Standards in all of our classes and we feel very confident that we have an outstanding teaching and support staff at Royal High School.

We are also actively giving support to all students on campus academically and socially.  Our Library/Media Center is open for student use after school from  3:00-4:00pm, as well as during the school day.   The Library Media Center offers access to the Internet for research projects on 80 computers for our students, staff and parents/guardians.  We also have a fully equipped College/Career Center that can be of assistance in your future choices.  

Royal High School  houses approximately 2350 students this school year.  We are glad to have you with us for the 2012 – 2013 school year and we assure you that the Royal High School Staff will provide an atmosphere of academic excellence.
